<p>Hi I'm Teddy.</p> <p>For four months, a country club became my home.</p> <p>I wandered the grounds every day, following the maintenance workers around like I was part of the crew. They fed me, looked out for me, and I even got to ride on the golf carts with them. For a little while, it felt like maybe I belonged somewhere.</p> <p>They tried so hard to keep me safe. One night, they left me inside a building so nothing could hurt me but I found my way back out.</p> <p>That's when everything changed.</p> <p>I was attacked by another animal, possibly a dog or a coyote. I was hurt, scared, and alone. But the workers didn't give up on me. They cleaned my wounds, cared for me, and loved me the best they could. Still, no one was able to take me home.</p> <p>Then one day my life changed again.</p> <p>Kayla stepped in and refused to let me keep surviving out there alone.
