About Minnie
Minnie is a 2.5-year-old Dogo Argentino mix with a gentle heart and a goofy, affectionate personality. Found abandoned and pregnant, Minnie made her way to safety, adjusted to life as a partially hearing dog, and has since blossomed in foster care. She bonds deeply with her people, never straying far from her human’s side, and lives for affection and connection. Playful and loyal, Minnie is eager to please and quick to pick up new skills—a true velcro-dog at heart. While she may have missed out on early socialization, watching Minnie discover the world is a joy in itself. She gets along with other dogs, greets new animals (including pigs and cats) with curiosity rather than intensity, and shows little prey drive. She’s crate trained, steadily getting the hang of leash walks, and confidently learning new routines. She already knows how to sit for treats and is food-motivated, which helps her excel in ongoing training. Now at a healthy weight and thriving, Minnie is ready to join a home that will keep guiding her with patience and love. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and has completed heartworm treatment. Minnie's adoption process includes a foster-to-adopt trial so you can be sure she’s the right fit. With all she’s overcome, Minnie is well on her way to becoming an incredible family companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
