Since arriving on 05/15/2026 from another shelter, Buddy Holly has been patiently waiting for a loving home to call his own. While we do not know much about his past, he has already shown us what a sweet and social companion he can be. Buddy Holly enjoys staying close to his people and happily leans in for ear rubs and affection. He has shown interest in toys and brings a fun, playful energy wherever he goes. He was absolutely jazzed to meet another dog in the shelter, and with a slow introduction and thoughtful separation plan, Buddy may do well living with another canine companion. As Buddy Holly settles into a new environment, adopters should monitor interactions with children while he becomes more comfortable, helping ensure he does not get overwhelmed with too much touch or excitement. We also recommend that all household members meet Buddy prior to adoption to help create the best possible match.
