I'm still getting acclimated to my new surroundings, having been rescued from a shelter where I ended up as a stray. Behind my defensive behavior, I am a sweet and gentle soul, but right now I'm not able to always show it. I am barrier reactive and can be nervous, but once you earn my trust and get me on a leash, you'll see my true colors shine. It's not known if I'll be best buds with other dogs, if I'd get along with cats or if I'd do ok in a home with children. Right now I need a patient and experienced adult to show me that the world isn't so scary, and that I can feel safe and loved. I had a challenging start, and I am searching for someone to take a chance on me.
