About Chief

CHIEF UPDATE - STILL LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! As many of you know, our handsome boy Chief was recently at emergent risk. Thankfully, we were able to offer him a little extra time, and then an incredible foster stepped in to save the day. Now that he's had a chance to decompress in a foster home, we wanted to share an update because this amazing boy is STILL looking for his forever family! And wow... Chief has proven himself to be an absolute gem. At 80 pounds of Anatolian Shepherd love, Chief is the definition of go with the flow. Want to lounge around and binge watch TV? Chief says, "Sounds perfect." Want to go for walks or enjoy some outdoor time? Chief is your guy. His foster says: "Chief is such a great dog! We love him. He is no problem at all." He's described as: Super laid back and quiet Silly with a fun personality He SMILES Friendly with men, women, and new dogs Has blended seamlessly into foster life Learning home life beautifully and now loves lounging indoors Chief may not have had much indoor living experience before, but he adjusted quickly and clearly decided the couch life is where it's at. As long as he gets some good walks and activity, he's a very happy boy. His foster does note that Chief is a strong, athletic dog, so he'd do best with someone comfortable handling a large breed while he continues polishing up his leash manners. Honestly? Chief sounds like one of those rare dogs who just co-exists beautifully with everyone. He's asked for so little and has given so much love in return. Now all he needs is a family to call his own.
