Hi, we’re Roo and Tigger — a bonded pair of slightly nervous but very lovable cats who come with a built-in “warming up” period. At first, we might act like you are a mysterious giant creature we are not entirely sure about. We may observe you from a safe distance, question your intentions, and consider whether fleeing is necessary (spoiler: it usually isn’t). But give us a little time… and suddenly the magic happens. I’m Roo, and once I decide you’re safe, I transform into a certified purring machine. I may start off shy, but patience unlocks my secret mode: professional cuddler and expert biscuit admirer. And I’m Tigger. I take my job as Roo’s emotional support teammate very seriously. I like to follow her lead, and once she says, “Okay, this human is acceptable,” I also agree… loudly… with purring. I just need a little extra time to double-check the vibes first. We’re not instant cats. We’re slow-burn cats. Think of us like a really good story that starts a little quiet and then suddenly becomes your favorite part of the day. Once we settle in, we’re affectionate, sweet, and full of soft purrs that turn even the shyest beginnings into a happy ending. We just need a patient home that understands: trust isn’t immediate, but it’s absolutely worth it.
