AvailableAbout Chicken Chica Masala
Would you like to be the first in the world to own an immortal cat that embodies the spirit of your grandma Francine and her total lack of a filter? This is your chance. Meet Chica. She also goes by Chinquanta, Chinquanta Bananta, Chiquita Banana, and her personal favorite - Chicken Chica Masala. She would like a forever foster; someone she can mooch off of for pets and food and you don't even have to pay for any of it. The rescue will cover all of her medical and supplies for her life. Chica came to us at 13 years old after her person went into a retirement home. She started to lose weight, had a mystery eye issue (hence the eye that looks like a crystal ball), and we prepared for the worst news. Although touching her has been described as "feels like petting legos" this girl has made it clear she won't be going anywhere any time soon. She loves to cuddle, grab your arm when she feels she's not getting enough attention, and yell at you for more pets. When her ever changing and completely invisible tolerance bar is filled, she will yell at you for being so stupid as to think she wanted 33 instead of 32 pets, and walk off to stare at the corner of the wall in disgust. Just to prove that she's a haunted Victorian doll with conflicting personalities, this cat loves water. WATER. She needs an XL bowl just so she can stand in it. We think she's trying to cleanse her previous sins, who knows. Similar to Aunt Jane who simply won't accept that she lost her license in '97 and can't drive herself to her bridge game tonight, Chica will not be told that she can't just whack the living daylights out of any cat she comes across - hence why she would prefer to be the only animal in the home. She may be nearly 14-years-old, but lawd does this girl have spunk. If you hear the noises of a creature near the end of its life across the house, rest assured it's just Chica hunting her favorite pink mouse. Multiple times her foster parents have run over to make sure she wasn't actively dying just to have her make the cutest little "meep" of a hello once she's caught playing. Check the comments for a video if you don't believe us. She's snuggly, playful, chatty, and frankly just weird. If you have water, churus, no animals, and a warm sun spot where she can fall into such a deep sleep you have to hover over her to make sure she's breathing - you're the right fit for her. Chica is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please submit an application here: https://airtable.com/apph147Ocb1OqwMU3/shrASIF0R2OtkjxWD There are no adoption fees for Chica. She is looking for a forever foster to provide her love and comfort, while the rescue financially covers any supplies or vet care she needs for the rest of her life.
