Kuma is a 6‐year‐old Shiba Inu mix weighing about 18 pounds, and he's an active, lively little guy who enjoys staying busy and engaged. He has done well around other dogs his size and smaller, and he's been friendly with people, though he can be a bit head‐shy at times. Because of this, we would not recommend him for homes with young children who may not understand boundaries. We took Kuma in from a local animal control facility, and after a full exam, our veterinary team noted no concerns, and his labwork came back unremarkable. He has been cleared as healthy and is ready for a fresh start. His adoption fee is $400. Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken. Upon intake, every animal receives: Spay/neuter surgery Microchip All age‐appropriate vaccinations Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed) Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption Please note adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
