Meet Rusty, a 6-year-old, 13 pound orange gentleman whose world recently changed when his owner was unexpectedly hospitalized. The shelter was a big adjustment for him, and at first he was very shut down and overwhelemed. After a little over a week decompressing in a quiet office, Rusty is starting to show his true self. Once he feels safe, he loves gentle pets and chin scratches and will happily lean into affection. Churu tubes are the fastest way to his heart! Rusty would do best in a calm, peaceful home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. If you have patience and a soft spot for a shy but loving boy, Rusty may be the one for you.
