Meet Gypsy - an 11-year-old sweetheart who never deserved to lose the only home she knew. Gypsy was surrendered to our rescue after her "finder" claimed she had been abandoned outside by a neighbor. Sadly, that story quickly fell apart when her microchip traced right back to the person who brought her in. After 11 years, Gypsy suddenly found herself confused, scared, and sitting in a shelter kennel. Despite everything, Gypsy has remained incredibly sweet. She's understandably nervous while adjusting to all the changes, but underneath that scared exterior is a gentle girl who just wants to feel safe and loved again. According to her previous owner, she did well with other cats, though we always recommend slow introductions in a new home. Gypsy is front declawed, which is important for potential adopters to understand. Declawed cats can be more prone to arthritis and litter box sensitivities as they age, especially in their senior years. We want to be upfront about that so Gypsy's future family is fully prepared to support her needs for the rest of her life - because she deserves stability, patience, and a true forever home this time around.
