Velma is a very sweet kitty. It takes her a while to get out of her shell, but once she knows that she can trust you, she becomes your little shadow. She loves curling up on your lap and getting pets while she purrs herself to sleep. There is not a single treat I've found that she will not love and she is very food motivated. Her absolute favorite is her freeze-dried minnows. She is a very quiet kitty, only ever getting loud when she can't find you or her other friends. She does like to quietly chirp at you if you stop petting her before she's done being pet. She loves playing with any string toy, and prefers the tiny mouse toys to bat around over the springs. She loves a good, high, sunny spot to take her naps. She is very much an escape artist and an opportunist; you will have to watch and open food or drink that is nearby, as she would love nothing more than to take a bite or drink for herself.
