He may only weigh around 10 pounds, but he's got the heart of a full-time adventure buddy and part-time professional snuggler. That little body holds a BIG brain! Tuffy is house- and crate-trained and gets along well with other dogs. He hasn't been around cats. Overall, he's a laid-back little guy who enjoys a calm routine, but he does need a quieter adult-only home where he can feel safe. New people make him nervous, and he'll need a patient adopter willing to continue helping him build confidence and trust. Once you're "his person," though, you'll have a fiercely loyal best friend for life. Because this tiny explorer can squeeze through wider fence slats, a secure yard with tight fencing would be ideal. He's also not much of a fan of car rides, so he'd happily trade road trips for neighborhood strolls and cozy nights at home.
