About Kiwi
Kiwi arrived at the rescue with his brother Coconut after their previous family decided they wouldn't have time to care for them due to a new baby. With gorgeous brown and white coloring and a striking medium-length coat, Kiwi is a young Australian Shepherd mix who embodies the breed’s intelligence and energetic nature. He isn’t yet house trained and will need an adopter ready to invest in continued training and consistent routines. An active lifestyle is a must for Kiwi—he will thrive with regular exercise and stimulation to keep his clever mind busy. This is not a couch potato; Kiwi’s looking for a place where he can run, play, and work side by side with a dedicated person. Kiwi is currently in Tinley Park, IL, and would do best with someone familiar with herding breeds, or anyone prepared for the responsibility these dogs demand. Kiwi is vaccinated and neutered and waiting for a fresh start. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
