Meet Bass! Bass has always been a bit of a mystery-and in many ways, he still is. He came to us from the same home as Blue, Darlene, Twit, and Steven after their owners sadly passed away. While we were helping the cats from the home, we kept hearing there might be another Siamese-but no one had ever actually seen him. It wasn’t until we set a humane live trap that Bass finally appeared, quietly revealing himself after all that time. Like the others, Bass spent much of his life out of sight and had very limited socialization. Because of this, he’s extremely shy and unsure of people. New environments are overwhelming for him, and his first instinct is to hide and stay as still and quiet as possible. But Bass is here now, and he’s slowly beginning his journey toward feeling safe. He would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Bass isn’t looking to be the center of attention—he’s looking for someone who will give him space, patience, and kindness as he learns that he doesn’t have to stay hidden anymore. What Bass needs: -A quiet, low-traffic home -No dogs or young children -A patient adopter experienced with shy or under socialized cats -Time, understanding, and a willingness to let him come out of his shell at his own pace Bass may always be a bit of a hidden gem—but for someone willing to go at his speed, the bond you build with him will be something truly special.
