Taco had major Hernia repair on 5/14. She needs to be on low activity while she heals. Here's what her foster mom has learned so far: -Friendly and gentle; loves being held, snuggled, and spending quiet time on the couch. -Enjoys treats and mealtime, and responds well to positive reinforcement. -Excellent potty manners. -Gets along with cats and small dogs. -Comfortable and happy in her crate, even with the door open, which she finds very reassuring. -Likes spending time outside on grass. -Shy and cautious around strangers, fast movements, hard floors, and concrete sidewalks. -May take time to come out of her crate but thrives in a calm, patient environment. -Safe and happy in a quiet space, like a mudroom, where she can relax at her own pace.
