About Manzano
Manzano got his name from the nearby mountain range and started life as an orphaned pup alongside his sister, Sandia, after their mother rejected them. Raised with help from a kind owner but needing extra support as they grew, he’s now about seven weeks old and will be ready for adoption at eight weeks, right at the start of June. Manzano is transitioning to dry kibble (served with a bit of warm water), eating three times a day, and learning about all the new textures and sensations that come with puppyhood. Tug-of-war tops his list of favorite activities, but nothing beats sprinting down the hallway when he hears a cheery call. Manzano has a big appetite—sometimes his round belly gets in the way of sitting, which only adds to his charm. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a great fit for many homes. His adoption fee covers a voucher for neutering once he’s 12 weeks old. By the way, being born April 7 makes Manzano an Aries, so expect a spirited little explorer. Start your journey together! Apply now.
