About Wes
Wes is a small, 2-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix with a black and apricot coat and an unmistakable black mask that gives him a bit of comic-book charm. There’s a gentle energy about Wes; he’s playful and affectionate, always prancing with a happy bounce in the grass. He’s social, eager to be close to people, and makes friends with other dogs easily. Belly rubs and being doted on are pretty much his favorite things, and he thrives in settings where folks are around more than not. He can jump surprisingly high for his size and brings a constant cheerful presence to his foster home in Corona Del Mar, CA. Wes is alert—always watching what’s happening outside—and settles just as well with a good cuddle as he does with play. After being rescued as a stray, he’s grateful, polite, and simply soaks up every bit of comfort. Wes is house trained, neutered, and his vaccinations are up to date. He does especially well with children and dogs, so families with either (or both) will find him an easy fit. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful companion ready to love and be loved, Wes is the kind of dog who won’t disappoint. Your new best friend is just one click away.
