About Fawkes

Fawkes and his best friend Maple are a bonded pair with a tight connection—think Pooh and Piglet by way of cat rescue life. Fawkes is a gray and white 5-year-old male with a gentle spirit, always looking out for his more anxious buddy, Maple. Life hasn’t always been smooth for them; both arrived at Kitty Connection as strays, were adopted, then returned through no fault of their own. In that twist of fate, they met, hit it off in foster, and became inseparable. Fawkes has bounced back from losing an eye and several teeth, and has not lost his cheerful, affectionate nature. He soaks up cuddles, sticks by Maple’s side, and collects comfort for them both. Maple is a young tabico who was once wary of people, but playtime—and Fawkes—have helped her learn to trust. Maple’s forever home will need patience for her slow-burn trust; but her loyalty runs just as deep. Together, they’re playful, resilient, and looking for a quiet home where their story can settle into something permanent. If you can offer them gentle understanding, they’ll reward you with devotion and plenty of feline love. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
