About Twinkle Pounds

Twinkle Pounds, often called Twinkie, is as compact as they come, weighing just under 5 pounds and staying petite. She’s an engaging, spunky youngster who adores playtime, laps, and belly rubs, and happily gives out gentle little kisses. Her coat is soft, easy to manage, and she barely blinks at bath time. Twinkie settles easily and has proven a calm, quiet presence—her foster reports almost no barking or whining. With other small dogs, she’s delighted and eager to play, so we’re really looking for a home with at least one young, small canine buddy and a securely fenced yard. No dog? Consider adopting two. Twinkle is food motivated, crate trained, and currently about 90% housebroken with regular outdoor breaks—she learns fast when snacks are on the line. Best suited for families with older children (8+) or those who understand how to live with tiny breeds, she’s incredibly affectionate and happy to burrow under covers at night. She thrives with someone who works from or is home often, so she doesn’t have to be left alone for long stretches. With an outstanding temperament, Twinkle's new family is in for something special. She’s ready and waiting in Lake Geneva, WI. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
