About Lyla
Lyla came to the rescue as an owner surrender when she was just four months old and is now looking for her forever home. She’s a friendly, social pup who enjoys the company of other dogs, though her play style can get a little rough—nothing unexpected for a puppy her age. She’s fully vetted, up to date on shots, and ready to meet a patient family willing to see her through puppyhood. Lyla goes outside for potty breaks but is still working on house training, so accidents are to be expected. She will need a home ready to put in the time and patience to help her learn and settle in. If you can’t commit to the energy and training a young dog needs, this likely isn’t the right match. She’s a good fit for families with children and would do best somewhere with a fully fenced yard. Only New Jersey adopters should apply—no exceptions. Homeownership is required. The rescue offers a foster-to-adopt program, giving both Lyla and her potential family a chance to make sure the match is right. Ready pups like her just need the right start to thrive. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
