About Doug
Doug’s story started rough, but he’s writing a better chapter now. Found on the roadside in bad shape on Valentine’s Day, Doug was brought in for urgent care and diagnosed with FIC, a bladder condition brought on by severe stress and dehydration. At first, he was withdrawn and sick, refusing to drink or move much. But with antibiotics, care, and the right support, Doug has made a big turnaround. He’s drinking water again, feeling brighter, and letting his sweet, gentle personality shine through. Doug is about a year and a half old, with a laid back, mellow way about him. He’ll need to stay on a urinary diet moving forward, and his ideal home is quiet and calm, where he can keep healing and feel secure. Doug doesn’t get along with other cats or dogs, so he’s best as a solo companion. If you want a loyal lap cat in Pinedale, WY, and can give him the stability he needs, Doug could be a great fit. Fun fact: with a late November birthday, Doug is a Sagittarius—curious and always looking for brighter days ahead. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
