Archie is an adorable young Corgi mix with a huge heart, a bright mind, and the sweetest little face. He is smart, alert, playful, and very connected to his people - the kind of pup who watches everything and learns quickly. His foster says, "Archie is one of my favorite dogs I've ever fostered. He is snuggly and sweet and wants to connect. He is a joy to watch run and be playful. He just brings so much sweetness." Archie loves other dogs and is especially excited to meet children. He would thrive with an active family who can give him plenty of playtime, structure, and continued positive training. He sleeps quietly through the night in his dog bed and is fully potty trained. Archie has a strong prey drive and loves to chase squirrels, deer, etc. Because his recall can be challenging when he is focused on something, he would do best in a more suburban or urban home with a secure fenced yard, rather than a rural property with lots of wildlife or open space. We estimate Archie will be around 35-40 pounds full grown - a great compact, athletic size for adventures and couch cuddles alike. He is affectionate, joyful, and full of potential, and with the right home he is going to grow into an incredibly loyal best friend.
