Meet Mater—a 2yr old, sweet, slightly shy boy with a heart full of love. Mater can be a little reserved when he first meets new people, but he warms up quickly. He's incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his humans. He has a gentle, soft nature and really shines in a calm, supportive environment. Like any young dog, Mater has plenty of playful energy and loves romping around—especially with other dogs! He would do wonderfully in a home with a confident canine friend who can help show him the ropes and build his confidence. Mater is currently working on his house training and is very food- and affection-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. He also does well with some crate time. A home with a yard where he can safely run and enjoy his zoomies would be ideal.
