Rosierosebud, or Rosie, is a 9-year-old Boston Terrier in Seattle, WA, with a giant personality packed into a small frame. She weighs in at 21lbs and has a reputation as a total sweetheartājust spend a few minutes with her and you'll see why. Rosie thrives around other dogs, especially those confident in their social skills, but cats and children make her uneasy, and she is not suited for homes with either. Human companionship is where she truly shines; nothing makes her happier than curling up next to you on the couch, in bed, or heading out for her devoted long walksāshe keeps a steady pace with her foster on twice-daily 1 to 1.5 mile outings. Rosie is whip-smartāsometimes to the point of mischief. Sheās figured out how to open her crate (her foster now double latches), and sheās been known to defeat doors and gates too, making her a "high flight risk." Itās important that her future family be vigilant and have a secure home and yard. Sheās house trained and almost entirely crate trained, but honestly, she can be trusted loose for short stints. Rosie craves regular outdoor time and yard space, so sheās not suited for apartment life or situations where she canāt bark freely now and then. Her ideal home includes an owner who works from home and wants a steadfast walking buddy and snuggler. Rosie is ready to add joy and adventure to the right home.
