Meet Luna! She is a 4-year-old beautiful large-breed girl weighing around 50 lbs who's ready to find an active and loving home to call her own. Luna came to us when her previous owners were no longer able to care for her, and she has been patiently waiting since May 6th, 2026 for her second chance. Luna is an energetic and enthusiastic girl who loves being around her people. She gets incredibly excited when she sees familiar faces and brings a fun, lively energy wherever she goes. Luna would thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and can provide her with plenty of daily exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to stay mentally engaged. This smart girl already knows both "sit" and "down" and enjoys learning and interacting with her people. With continued positive reinforcement and structure, Luna has so much potential to continue growing into an amazing companion. She will need a home committed to providing consistent mental and physical stimulation to help her stay happy and fulfilled. Luna has previously lived with another dog and may be able to live with a canine companion again with the proper match and a gradual introduction. Adopters should be prepared to help regulate interactions between Luna and resident dogs to ensure everyone is respecting each other's boundaries and feeling comfortable. Because of her size and energetic personality, Luna would do best in a home with older children if there are any. We would require any young children in the home to meet her prior to adoption to help ensure a good fit for everyone involved.
