About Cookie

Meet Cookie! This affectionate pup thrives on attention from both humans and other dogs. Smart and eager to please, she’s already mastered commands like sit and shake. Cookie's enthusiasm and playful spirit shine through as she wrestles with her fur siblings and enjoys a good cuddle after burning off some energy. At around 1.5 years old and weighing about 67 lbs, she’s a lovely mix of Labrador Retriever and Doberman Pinscher, complete with soulful eyes. While she’s full of cuddles, she may not always be aware of her size and strength, especially when meeting new people or pets. For that reason, a home without small children or cats is ideal. Cookie is fully house trained and crate trained. Although she has limited leash experience, her love for treats will make training a breeze. Ideally, she’d flourish in a home with a fenced yard and would really benefit from having a canine companion to play with. Cookie's story is one of resilience; she survived three days alone during devastating flooding in the Rio Grande Valley. Now, she’s ready for a loving forever home and all the affection she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, look no further. Apply to adopt Cookie today! Cookie is currently in South TX but can be adopted throughout Texas and the Northeastern states.
