Meet Krypto, a gorgeous and happy lab mix who is ready for a fresh start after a difficult beginning. Found on the streets as nothing but skin and bones, he has made an incredible recovery thanks to a kind community member who stepped in to feed him. Since coming into our care, Krypto has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he is now searching for a forever home where he can receive the dedicated attention he deserves. At just six months old, he currently weighs 32 lbs and is expected to reach a perfect medium size of around 50 lbs when fully grown. Krypto is currently staying with our friends at Hounds Town Midtown, where he has already proven to be a total social butterfly with other pets, and he is set to begin his leash training very soon. While it is hard to imagine such a young pup surviving on his own, Krypto’s spirit remains unbroken. Although Barrio Dogs isn't a traditional rescue, the overwhelming number of homeless animals on our streets reminds us that everyone should step in and do their part.
