Sammy was adopted from us late 2024, Sammy was recently returned after her owner unfortunately passed away. Sammy is a very friendly and affectionate cat. More information to come once we relearn her personality. Since Sammy was gone for awhile we have to retest her with dogs, cats and kids. Adoption Fee:$75 Must be an inside pet, we do NOT adopt to be outdoors. Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our Adorable Adoptables from the Auglaize County Humane Society. We have a process for adopting, 1. fill out the application, 2. give us 3-5 days to go over information. 3. Once completed, if/when you are approved, we will call and set up an appointment time with you. *We do not respond to inquiries, please put an application in. The adoption fee includes all initial vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, and a deworming. We are a BEST MATCH facility. We try to match the pet’s personality and needs with the family’s needs and lifestyle to increase the likelihood of a lifetime happy relationship for the whole family. The online application we provide on our website, achs-pets.com, is a preliminary application. We will check the veterinary information of the applicant’s other current animals as well as any past animals they have had in the last 7 years. We also get the landlord permission to have pets if the applicant is a renter. Once we have done this, we will call if everything seems sufficient.
