Beacon's are commonly characterized as a fire or light set up in a high or prominent position as a warning, signal, or celebration. Our Beacon has two green lights shining outwards from his perfect feline face, and that stare convinces you to dedicate an entire life to him. Beacon was a previously untouchable, terrified, and overall despondent kid. Through his time at the shelter, and us sitting in his room for hours on end, mimicking the cutest baby meows I have ever heard, we have completely pulled Beacon out of his shell. He still does not love super fast movement, but his typical worse case scenario is hiding in his hidey bed when I get spooked. Once I've gotten to know you however? It is over! I will roll over for you, follow you around, and demand to never leave your side. A lot of others at the shelter overlook me due to my shy demeanor, but I have a whole bunch of personality, you just have to earn it!
