About Oreo
Meet Oreo. Even with her eyes barely open and a rough start to life, Oreo has proven she’s a fighter. Alongside her brother, Nutter Butter, and their mama, Nabisco, she’s facing some big challenges. Oreo suffered a severe umbilical cord injury right after birth, and her tiny foot detached as a result. Despite these hardships, she cuddles up to her family and accepts every bit of care given—her will to push through is hard to miss. She’s still tiny, just a few weeks old, and will eventually need surgery to amputate her injured leg once she’s big enough. For now, Oreo is warm, safe, and surrounded by love. While she isn’t ready for adoption yet, it’s hard not to admire her determination and the cuteness she brings to North Haledon, NJ. Click apply to start the adoption process.
