Meet Ryker, a 3-year-old gentleman who may be a little timid at first, but warms up into a sweet and loving companion once he feels comfortable. From our volunteer observations, Ryker seems laid back and social with other dogs during playgroup, and during his time in a home he showed just how gentle and well-mannered he can be. He knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down, rides well in the car, loves tennis balls and belly rubs, and was gentle with young children ranging from 3 to 10 years old. He also interacted calmly with a resident Siamese cat without showing aggressive or prey-driven behavior. Ryker does have a limp on his back leg that our medical team is aware of.
