Georgie Porgie is the kind of kitten who makes people fall in love instantly. Maybe it’s his impossibly expressive little face. Maybe it’s the way he looks at you like he’s trying to understand every word you say. Or maybe it’s because the second you pick him up, he turns into a tiny purring teddy bear and completely melts into your arms. He is sweet. Silly. Gentle. Endlessly loving. And after everything he’s been through, he deserves the happiest life imaginable. Georgie Porgie and his siblings — Little Lamb, Bo Beep, Peekaboo, and Lullaby — were found abandoned outside as tiny helpless babies, struggling to survive together. No mama came back for them. They were cold, hungry, dirty, covered in fleas, and trying to comfort one another the only way they knew how: by staying curled together in one frightened little pile. They should have been safe in a home somewhere learning how to play. Instead, they were fighting to survive before they were even old enough to understand the world. But Georgie never lost his loving heart. Even after such a sad beginning, he became one of the happiest, most affectionate kittens imaginable. He LOVES people. He LOVES cuddles. He LOVES toys. He even loves ridiculous things like attacking blanket wrinkles and dramatically chasing invisible enemies across the room at 2 a.m. And when he’s finally tired? He transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug and wants nothing more than to nap beside you, purring himself to sleep. Georgie is especially close to his siblings because they’ve been together through every scary moment of their little lives. They comfort each other constantly, and if possible, we would absolutely love to see him adopted with one of them — especially Little Lamb or Lullaby. After such heartbreak, Georgie deserves a family who will cherish him forever. Someone who will laugh at his goofy kitten antics, spoil him with soft blankets and toys, and make sure he never again has to wonder if he’s loved. He survived abandonment. He survived fear.
