About Maple

Maple is about 14 years old and spent much of her life outdoors before she was brought in last winter with a tough respiratory infection. She’s now a cozy housecat who’s had dental work, leaving her with no teeth—but that just means she sticks to senior wet food. Maple sometimes battles a runny nose, which the vet suspects may always be a bit of an annoyance, but it’s manageable with regular cleaning and saline flushes. She’s completely deaf, though her eyesight is still working well enough for her to enjoy her environment. Despite her age and quirks, Maple craves affection. Her meow, scratchy and raspy, is unmistakably quirky and adds to her charm. She gets along with other cats and shines in a gentle, loving home where she can soak up attention. Every animal has a story, and Maple's is one of resilience and sweetness that’s hard to overlook. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
