Meet Jax! At about 2 years old, this husky/shepherd mix has weathered some hard times, but you’d never guess it from his boundless energy and bright spirit. Jax has put on a healthy 35 lbs since arriving at the shelter and fully recovered from Anaplasmosis, and these days he’s happiest when he’s running, playing, or inviting new friends—human and animal alike—into his circle. Jax gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making him quite the social dog. His affection is genuine and his energy contagious, yet he has a gentle streak that shines through during quiet moments. This is a dog who will bring life and laughter to any home, ready to leave the past behind for a future with you. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
