Amber is a 7-pound adult Chihuahua with a gentle, reserved spirit. Now six years old, she moves with extra care and always seems to be looking for cozy, warm places to curl up. Her eyes are especially expressive, watchful and wary when something unfamiliar comes her way. Loud noises and busy scenes make her nervous—she much prefers the comfort of quieter spaces and sticks close to her trusted human. It may take a while for Amber to feel safe with newcomers or new places, but once she decides you are trustworthy, she’s deeply loyal and shows a quiet affection. Amber would thrive in a routine, predictable household where she can relax and bond closely. She is not yet house trained, but she's spayed and up to date on vaccinations, and receives monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. Amber also gets along with other dogs.
