Some of you may remember Bella, the sweet senior girl who escaped her family in Texas shortly before coming into Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue’s care. After a volunteer was finally able to catch her, we flew her foster mom down to bring her safely back to Tennessee. Mission accomplished, but Bella’s story didn’t end there. After arriving and being seen by our vet, Bella was found to have a MASSIVE bladder stone. This poor girl must have been living in so much discomfort for such a long time. Thankfully, surgery was a success, and Bella is now healthy, feeling better, and ready for the forever home she has always deserved. Bella is around 10 years old and truly the total package. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she realizes you’re safe, she will happily become your little shadow. Her favorite place is perched on the back of the couch behind her person, and she loves sharing your pillow at night. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, is housebroken, and does well when left alone. Bella does have some eye allergies, but they are easily managed with the occasional Benadryl. After everything she has been through, we can’t wait to see Bella finally get the happy ending she deserves. Only the very best for this sweet girl.
