About Foxtrot

Hello beautiful human! I'm three-month-old Foxtrot and I can't wait to meet you! I am a beautiful grey cat but if you look closely, you will see I have stripes in all the right places. I love to spend my day playing with my siblings! I'm really good at hoping like a bunny, cartwheels, flips, really all think parkour. I enjoy all toys, wand toys, and watching birds out the window. I am a medium energy kitten. I play best with Samba and Flamenco. I am very cuddly and love to cuddle with Flamenco. I must have another playful cat of similar energy to play with. I would love to go to a home along with Flamenco, we are the same energy levels and love to cuddle but welcome all play mates. The most important things you should know about me; I LOVE to play. I have normal kitten energy, at the medium energy level. When I get tired, I'm often the first one to put myself to sleep. I'm also very Intune with Flamenco and if she goes to bed first, I will often follow her. I keep her warm by laying on her and she doesn't seem to mind. I did test positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). My mom was an outside cat and is FIV positive. As a kitten, I could be FIV positive or it could just be that my mom's antibodies caused me to have a false positive test. My adopter would have to adopt me knowing I could be either FIV positive or negative. My adopter would have to be committed to testing me at 6 months old to be certain. Even if I am FIV+, that doesn't mean I can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj Because I'm so young, I will need to be adopted with one of my siblings, or to a home with an active, young resident cat who can show me the ropes as I grow up. I'm getting spayed June 6 and I'm able to go to my forever home 5 days later! - - - - - - - - - - - - - There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
