About Jax
Jax had a rough start, landing in a crowded Louisiana pound as a tiny puppy, but he’s grown up to be a happy, healthy pup in foster care. His breed mix is a best guess—maybe Border Collie and Australian Shepherd—with a black and white coat and soft, medium fur. As of mid-May, Jax is four months old and weighs 26 lbs, likely heading for around 50 lbs as an adult. He loves toys—especially his turtle—playing outside, splashing in water, hanging with other dogs, and being around kids. Jax is a food lover (he uses a slow feeder) and is picking up house training quickly, letting you know when he has to go out. He listens, responds to "no," and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. His little head-tilts make him hard to resist. Jax has had all his puppy vaccines, is up to date on prevention, and will be neutered and microchipped before traveling to his forever home. He’s ready for a family who will keep up his training and give him the attention he deserves. Jax can be adopted out of state and travels up the East Coast—from PA to VT.
