This young mama came to the shelter with four beautiful kittens, and her first foster described her as an exceptional mother — attentive, nurturing, and deeply devoted to her babies. After her kittens were weaned, Caroline moved into a second foster home, where she has continued to blossom as she adjusts to indoor life. She’s discovering all the comforts she missed while surviving on the streets: soft places to nap, toys to chase, and plenty of her favorite meals. With each passing day, more of her sweet personality shines through. Caroline is learning to come when called, happily accepts being picked up for cuddles, and loves simply spending time near her people. She’s generous with adorable head bumps and especially enjoys squirrel watching, string toys, and carrying around her favorite little treat mouse. Caroline would thrive as an indoor-only cat in a calm, patient home that understands she may be shy at first.
