About Moana
Moana is a 5-month-old Domestic Short Hair currently settling in at Oakland Animal Services along with her sibling Maui. Unlike her easygoing brother, Moana is a bit more reserved, preferring to gauge the situation before diving in. Over time, she’s been building confidence and enjoys soaking up gentle attention from the volunteers. Treats will win her over quickly, and she continues to make steady progress adjusting to all the new experiences of shelter life. Moana already gets along with other cats but isn’t comfortable with dogs. If you’re patient and kind, you’ll be helping her complete the journey from cautious kitten to loving companion. Let her set the pace, offer a few treats, and you’ll become her favorite part of the day. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
