Like her namesake, Gochujang is a little sweet with a touch of spice. This shy girl was found as a stray and only spent about two months in a home before being surrendered due to a move and lack of time. The shelter environment has been overwhelming for her, and she spends much of her time hiding and hissing. Despite looking scared, Gochujang has not swatted at or attempted to bite anyone — she appears fearful rather than aggressive. Her previous owner shared that she dislikes thunder, vacuums, and children, but enjoys a clean litterbox, cozy cat caves, and gentle encouragement. Gochujang is looking for a quiet home where she can decompress at her own pace and learn that the world can feel safe again.
