Leo is a sweet little man who loves to cuddle and play. He was surrendered to us as his previous guardian’s declining health meant they could no longer care for him. He loves to give kisses, play fetch with soft toys, and is always ready to relax. Leo is an easy-going guy who gets along great with other dogs and all people. He also enjoys his time to sniff outside as at his previous home, he wasn’t walked very often. He is a shih-tzu which means he will need regular grooming for life to keep him looking and feeling his best. Leo is housebroken and great on leash. He is an affectionate dog that will force anyone to love him as soon as they look into his big puppy-dog eyes! Leo is a little over 5 years old as of 5/14/2026. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately. Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered. The adoption fee is $250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping.
