About Rosie

Fostered In: Chehalis, WA Adoption Fee: $350 Vaccines: DAPP, Lepto, Bordetella Spayed, Microchipped, Dewormed, Treated for Fleas Rosie is an approximately 3-year-old Shepherd mix who came to us as an owner surrender after her family could no longer care for her or her puppies. Shortly after arriving in foster care, Rosie quickly realized that she and her babies were finally safe - and she also decided that motherhood was overrated and being the center of attention was much more her style. This sweet girl absolutely thrives on love and affection and wants nothing more than to be as close to her person as possible at all times. Rosie is truly one of those dogs that steals hearts instantly. She is incredibly affectionate, happy, and eager to please. She LOVES being with her people and will happily climb right into your lap just to be as close as she can. If you're looking for a constant companion, shadow dog, cuddle buddy, and best friend all wrapped into one adorable package, Rosie may be your perfect match. Rosie is house trained, potty trained, walks wonderfully on leash, and knows basic commands like sit and down. She is currently working on crate training and doing well, though this girl would be more than happy to share a bed with her people if allowed. She has decent recall but honestly rarely wanders far because she always wants to stay close to her person. Rosie has done well with the other dogs and puppies in her foster home, though we do feel she would benefit from a slow introduction period and time to decompress in a new environment before expecting immediate friendships. Overall, Rosie is just an incredibly loving, sweet-natured dog who is ready to soak up all the love and attention she has always deserved. Rosie's adoption fee is $350 and she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
