Ashe has the kind of gentle, devoted personality that sticks with you. Even after everything she had clearly been through, her response to people was still love and trust. She followed along looking for her person, gave kisses to the people helping her, and calmly allowed handling and care every step of the way. Staff consistently describe her as sweet, friendly, and easygoing, with loose body language and affectionate wags whenever someone approaches her. She seems to genuinely enjoy being near people and takes comfort in human connection. Ashe is currently healing from injuries around her muzzle and mouth area and has been started on medication to help keep her comfortable while she recovers. Despite that discomfort, she has remained cooperative and kind during exams and treatment, allowing handling without issue and showing remarkable patience throughout. There is something especially touching about a dog who is still handing out kisses while healing herself. Ashe feels like the kind of companion who will bond deeply with her future family and repay kindness with unwavering loyalty and affection.
