Meet Toulouse This handsome 1-year-old boy came to us as a stray from Somerset. Toulouse is a very nervous cat who becomes stressed easily, so he’s looking for a patient and understanding home that will allow him to settle in at his own pace. While he isn’t very affectionate right now, we believe he has the potential to grow more comfortable and social once he feels safe and secure in a loving home. Because of his sensitive nature, we believe Toulouse would thrive best in a quiet home with no children where he can be the only pet. He will need an adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to give him the time, patience, and space he needs to blossom. It could take Toulouse months — if not longer — to fully warm up and feel comfortable, but the right home could make all the difference for him. Toulouse may not be the kind of cat who immediately seeks out attention, but for the right person, helping him learn to trust and feel safe again could be incredibly rewarding.
