Maria is a 50 lb sweetheart whose biggest goal in life is simple: to be as close to her people as possible. This girl is an absolute love bug who would happily spend her days curled up beside you soaking in cuddles and affection. Sadly, Maria has been returned twice, most recently due to housing issues completely outside of her control. Through it all, she has remained the same loving, loyal companion who just wants a stable home to finally call her own. She’s a calm, easygoing girl, but she still has a playful side and enjoys the occasional game of tug-of-war. Maria has previously lived with a two-year-old child and was very respectful, though she would likely be happiest in a quieter home without children where she can fully relax. Maria has also had a negative experience after being bitten by another dog, which has understandably made her cautious about canine friendships. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. Maria has so much love left to give. She just needs someone willing to give her the consistency, comfort, and devotion she deserves in return.
