Meet JSP Meatballpaul, a stunning black brindle male born 10/12/23 with a heart every bit as beautiful as his coat. Affectionately nicknamed “Shadow,” this incredibly special boy loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. He is loving, loyal, incredibly smart, and has the sweetest personality that makes everyone fall for him quickly. Meatballpaul has Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), a condition that gradually affects vision over time. While hearing that may sound intimidating at first, dogs with PRA adapt remarkably well and continue to live happy, full, joyful lives. Dogs rely so much on their noses, hearing, memory, and routines that many people are amazed at how confidently they navigate the world. In fact, once they learn their environment, they often continue life almost as if nothing has changed. And Meatballpaul is a perfect example of that resilience and adaptability. He does wonderfully on leash, has great house manners, knows stairs, rides nicely in the car, and handles daily life beautifully. He is confident, eager to please, and takes comfort in staying close to his people.
