Allie may not be the type to obsess over toys, but every now and then she'll surprise you with a playful moment. What she truly loves most are the simple things in life: belly rubs, cozy dog beds, lounging in her kennel, and stretching out on the cool ground outside when the weather is nice. She's also a smart cookie who already knows how to sit, shake, and even "talk" to you in her own adorable way. She is both crate trained and house trained, and she's very polite about letting you know when she needs to go outside. Once she's finished her business, she'll patiently wait by the door, ready to come back in and relax near her favorite people. Allie enjoys walks and would likely thrive in a somewhat active home where she can enjoy both adventures and cuddle time. Allie does well with other dogs, though food should be monitored around canine friends. She can also get a little jumpy when she's excited, but it's all part of her happy, loving personality. This beautiful girl does have thyroid issues and takes thyroid medication daily, which will be lifelong, but she handles it like a champ.
