Meet Dasher Dasher came to us after his owner could no longer care for him. He can sometimes be a little unsure of strangers at first. He takes time to feel comfortable, and that's okay. He's been through alot. But once you earn his trust? You've gained a loyal best friend for life. He bonds very deeply with his person and stays by their side through whatever life brings. He would likely do best in a calmer home without a lot of commotion, frequent visitors, or small children. We believe Dasher will thrive most with someone who understands that not every dog adjusts overnight, and that trust is something earned over time. We are still learning more about Dasher and not sure how he does with other dogs or cats. We will update once we know more! Dogs like Dasher are often overlooked, but the people who understand dogs like him know something special: Watching a cautious dog slowly choose to trust you is one of the most rewarding bonds there is. Some dogs may require all members of the household to come as well. If it's a good fit, you may take your new best friend home that same day! We also offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period to ensure it's the right match for everyone!
