She’s a medium-sized dog with a short black and white/cream coat, and she has been fully vaccinated. About Layla
Layla turned up as a stray in a rural area outside Houston alongside several other dogs, skinny and overrun with fleas. She's bounced back since—now at a healthy weight, fully vaccinated, and adjusting beautifully. Layla moves easily between bursts of playful energy and lounging on the couch, happy in both modes. She gets along with other dogs but, having lived as a stray, takes her food seriously; she'll need to eat separately if joining a home with other pets. Right now she hasn't been spayed due to her age, but this will be covered at adoption. Layla is house trained and young, craving a stable space and a family to call her own. Though based in Houston, she can be transported elsewhere for the right adopter—the transport fee is partly included in her adoption fee. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
